The federal minimum wage is currently set at $7.25 and has been a major issue of debate since its inception. Listen to the following podcasts and then do your own research on the costs and benefits of setting a minimum wage rate.
Then, write a blog post (350-500 words) indicating your position. You must reference at least three additional resources and are expected to submit, via Google Docs, an annotated works cited page. Your initial post is due by Friday, October 2. Finally, respond to two people's posts (200-300 words) by Tuesday, October 6. We will have a debate in class on Tuesday.
